Extra support for loved ones

Scam Shield: a real person to ask before they click.

Scam Shield is a simple monthly service that gives your parents or grandparents someone they can text whenever a message, email, or pop-up feels suspicious.

Why families use Scam Shield

  • Parents get alarming bank or delivery texts and feel pressured to act quickly.
  • Grandparents see pop-ups claiming their computer is “infected” and panic.
  • Adult children worry that one wrong click could lead to money being sent or private information being shared.

How Scam Shield works

1

You get in touch

Call or text (779) 529-0195 and share a little about your parents or grandparents and what they’re seeing.

2

We agree on a plan

Together, we decide on a straightforward monthly plan and who is covered, so everyone knows what to expect.

3

They save our number

They save the Scam Shield number in their contacts with a clear name, so it’s easy to find whenever something looks off.

4

They text before they act

When a message feels worrying, they text a screenshot or photo. We reply with a calm “safe or scam” answer and simple next steps.

Payment and what’s included

To keep things personal and safe, we do not take payment through buttons on this website. Instead, we talk first and then set up payment directly with you.

  • We explain the monthly amount clearly during a call or text, before anything starts.
  • Once you’re comfortable, we send simple payment instructions (for example, paying by Zelle to the same number you contacted).
  • Service can be adjusted or stopped if your family’s needs change.

Scam Shield offers guidance and education. It does not replace your bank or legal advisor, and we will never ask for passwords, PINs, or security codes.
